Vicious

grommet top - coming soon to Miracle Eye // skirt - Captain's Helm + DIY // eyeball ring - c/o Glow Worm Shop // all other rings and jewelry - vintage from flea markets or Etsy // sunglasses - coming soon to Miracle Eye // Harley boots - vintage

Can't wait to shoot a bunch of new things we have lined up for Miracle Eye.. more grommet tops like these, sunglasses, tons of dresses with bell sleeves, more bell bottoms in different fabrics, and so much new vintage. Typing that all out has motivated me more to set dates with my models. Boy was that easy!

Also also: I heard that Google Reader, the service that basically my entire readership uses, will be shutting down sometime next week(?) This sucks major ass, not just because I'm going to lose the 808 followers that I've garnered since I began blogging, but because I also personally use this service to follow tons and tons of blogs.. Probably the worst news I've heard in a while. Anyways, I highly urge you to follow me on Bloglovin' now since that's the only other method I also have on my blog for my followers to use. Major major bummer. You can follow me on Bloglovin' here, if you still would like to continue receiving updates when I post new things on this blog. Anyways, have an awesome Thursday, folks.

Death Take Your Fiddle

Spiritualized shirt - Coachella // shorts - AA // jacket - ASOS // belt - hand me down // Harley boots - vintage // sunglasses - so old I can't remember // jewelry - vintage

Oh this shirt.. So I went to Coachella for my first time last weekend (weekend one) and have finally fully recovered. I've been a half zombie and unable to get a good night's sleep for the past week (got back home Monday afternoon). Coachella was really amazing and although many people hate it because it's such a *mainstream* music festival and there are so many 'bros' that go, I had a fucking blast. And I ended up meeting some really awesome people. I watched some amazing bands and was front-row for every performance I went to except one, which is very exciting! A few I watched that I can think of off the top of my head: Tame Impala, Dinosaur Jr (I got kicked in my right eye by some 12 year-old idiot crowd surfer during this performance), The Stone Roses, Violent Femmes, Spiritualized, The Make-Up, Blur, Metric, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Modest Mouse.

My favorite performance is split between Spiritualized and The Stone Roses. So fucking good. Jason Pierce was AMAZING and blew my mind and I was crying half of the performance and I just never thought I'd see him in real life because he's never performing around here.. The performance was very spiritual (pun intended) and very surreal. I remember every detail of the performance perfectly and I will never forget it. Stone Roses' performance was UNREAL and Ian still has that voice! He threw out his tambourine and asked me if I wanted it and I nodded and he tossed it to me and some chick next to my friend (who was beside me) snatched it from me! I was in such shock that I was laughing.. What a fucking terrible human she is. Out of pure luck, the drummer later threw out his two drumsticks and I caught one! I was shaking and tearing up from joy because I never in my life thought I'd get to see The Stone Roses live. I didn't end up with Ian's tambourine, but I did catch a drumstick which is enough for me (so is knowing Ian noticed me and wanted me to have the tambourine) :-)))))

Here's a picture of the magical Stone Roses drumstick:

In other non-Coachella related news, over at Miracle Eye we're having a 10% OFF site wide sale! If you follow our Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook, you know that codes rarely come around, so this would be the time to purchase anything you've had your eye on! I've extended it to 48 hours instead of 24 hours, so you have until Monday night instead of Sunday night. Use code FOURTWENTY to get 10% off everything. Crazy times.

Oh and I now have front bangs (a fringe I think is what it's called). Chopped 'em a few days ago when I was really bored. Woooo.

Amnesia

Floral Velvet Express Pants - Miracle Eye // tee - scored for $2 from the Rose Bowl Flea Market // booties - Miracle Eye // jewelry - mixture of handmade by others, DIY, Etsy, and from flea markets // sunglasses - Etsy

Oh man. Amnesia.. That's all I can think of when it comes to this blog. I'm so sorry for not posting anything for so long.. Of course assuming that anyone still even checks this ol' thing. Thanks for all of you that have stuck around and even the new followers! I promise I will try and post every week again. If you want to keep up with my adventures and daily rantings, feel free to follow me on Instagram. I have an Insta for Miracle Eye (@miracleeye) where I post photos of new arrivals, discount codes, and outfits compiled by our customers including a piece from us, and a fairly new **personal** Insta (@larissablintz) where I post pictures of my face, outfits, new purchases, food, funny pictures of squirrels eating pizza, and lots of other fun stuffz. Anyways, my favorite part of this outfit is the amount of jewelry I piled on. Very awesome mixture of silvers, golds, and bronzes. The gold/bronze midi ring I'm wearing in the second to last photo is DIY. Might be selling them on Miracle Eye soon! Just gotta make sure they meet my jewelry standards and keep on wearing it for a week or so more so I know its a sturdy design. Also, I will be at Coachella weekend one (THIS Friday!!!!), so if any of you are there, I'd love to meet ya!
