You messed up my mental health

These pictures are old as hell, but I was cleaning up my computer and I wanted to put this outfit up! I haven't taken any outfit pictures too recently as I've had no one to take them and the roof top where I used to take them myself is now off limits because my manager is a complete buzz kill. These pictures were taken before I cut my dress a little bit shorter causing all the pretty daisies at the bottom to be gone.. Oh well. It was way too long, I don't know why I kept it at it's original length for so long (as seen in these photos) since I usually alter most of the clothes I thrift and keep for myself. Anyways, hope you all have a wonderful weekend! PS I've been using my Tumblr, here, a lot more the past two weeks or so. I had it abandoned for so long, I would literally check it maybe once a month. Now I'm on it every day for at least an hour, ha. I have been listening to Lily Allen for the past three days straight. Can I just say that I may be considering dating the opposite sex now because of her? (Just kidding, I would only date my female bunny and well maybe her, but no one else, heh.) She is not afraid to speak her mind, she's balsy as heck, conceived with an angelic voice, who wouldn't want to marry her?

The Fourth Dimension

Hi! Hope you all had had a great weekend! This outfit was a lot of fun, because you know how outfits can be actually be 'fun'! So many new products coming soon to the shop, I can't wait to show them all to you. Glitter leggings, snakeskin shorties and bell bottoms, and lots of vintage! I have been keeping myself busy these past few days by going to the library nearly everyday. I have also been working on all the homework I was assigned from my dumb teachers, going out and exploring Los Angeles with my friends (we filmed a lot of it, and I can't wait to make a video including all the clips!), and of course Miracle Eye! Oh and I've also been out of town a few times. I'll be out of town for a week starting in January to go visit a few friends of mine outside of Los Angeles, but still in California! This including an ex-boyfriend of mine, ha! Let the good times roll :~)

But on a serious note, I am soo so siked to see them. You know when you hit rock-bottom, or so you think, you start to re-connect with old friends and re-kindle old 'crushes' ? All that good stuff? I've re-vived friendships with people who I haven't spoken to in ages, most of these revivals occurring coincidentally on the first day of Winter break! The following week we just met up, went to places, each other's houses, it's really great. The end of something is just the beginning to something better!

Have a wonderful day!

The world is on fire while she fixes her hair

Hello! Look at me! Posting two days after my last post. I like this. Do you like this?
This outfit was sooooooo comfortable oh god. I could sleep in it!! Pendleton wool jacket is from Miracle Eye and the skull and spikes necklace is also from Miracle Eye! It will be added to the shop soon. I have been living off of red velvet cupcakes for the past few days.. When you have parents who purchase a 20-pack of these cupcakes every two weeks you have no choice really. It's like a punishment, that makes my taste buds tingle? I went to visit my mom at work a few days ago for the first time and met her co-workers. This was pretty much everything summed up:

*walk Larissa, just ignore them and continue to your mom's spot.. Ignore them ignore them*
Co-workers: Gloria!!!!!! IS that your daughter??????????!!
Mom: Yes! Larissa go introduce yourself!
*why is my life so..*
Me: Hey! Hello! *awkward squirm*
Co-workers: Hi my name is *insert eccentric name, ex: Catarinay or Equala*
Me: I'm Larissa! Okay well nice meeting you! Goodbye! *more awkward squirming*

Mom arrives later that night. Tells me all her co-workers think I am ~model-material~ then later find out I am a model. They are impressed. Later find out I model for my own brand. *mind-fucked* My mom tells me she is proud of having a daughter like me. Yeah mom. I bet your proud of my impressive squirming.
Because I love you all so dearly, the last photo on this post is a picture of my infamous *awkard squirm*. Now just add a weird as hell squeal similar to Pikachu's. Yeah. TOTALLY MODEL-MATERIAL.

Have a guh-reat day-o y'all!

I follow you deep sea baby

These pictures are actually about a month old.. Don't know why I never got to posting them. I have been listening to a lot of Lykke Li recently, her Wounded Rhymes album has been literally the soundtrack to my life for the past week! She and the band 'The Bravery' are both two that I'd kill to see live and maybe get to meet and greet. I will be posting a lot more frequently now that I am on winter break guys!! - *crowd boos* - No please don't reject me! :')

Hope you are all having a wonderful week!

Soul to squeeze

Hi, hope you're all having a great week. Last week of school for me, hurrah! Can't wait to live at the library alone without friends and survive off of strawberry and mango Hi-Chew until January 9! It is very sweet indeed!

I'd like to talk about something that's been on my mind for a while, I have posted about on Twitter and talked about it more in depth on Tumblr, but I will write about it on here too. Again, no surprise, it's about DEPRESSION and emotions. Gah, I'm sorry, just skip down to the photos if you'd like, but again this is my blog and I can post what I want so I shall now start my little rant/theory/thoughts, ha.

I have a friend who's name I'd rather not mention, but her mother has just passed away. And it out of nowhere, no disease, no warning. This, it breaks my heart into pieces. I as a person am already sort of broken inside, but I try so hard to be happy, and I've definitely succeeded in these past few weeks! When I hear things like this it makes me realize that I am at the height of arrogance for getting angry or sad at someone because they hurt me. It's ridiculous. I am ridiculous. I am consumed with feelings of loneliness and I can't help it but I have a home, a family, a business. Not many friends, but I can deal. I had one best friend who I've lost but shit happens. Without trust there's nothing, right? Or are all those corny Twitters and Tumblrs just bullshitting me? It just sucks man. I would be devastated if my mother were to pass.

Please please be happy, do it for me. I will be happy for myself, I will no longer be sad, I will continue to be happy as I am and have been. I had a vivid dream a few nights ago about my life almost being snatched away from me without any warning and I wasn't able to say goodbye to anyone I knew or tell others how I really felt. Nothing. I had nothing and I left. It was terrible. Ever since I had that dream, I've learned that attitude is so important in life. You're thrown into situations right? Like ultimatums and consequences. You don't have a choice for those, but you do have a choice on what kind of attitude you'd have for that day, week, minute, second. Be wise, choose carefully between the two because it could make the difference for you and those wonderful beings surrounding you. Okay I'm done. This has just affected me so much I couldn't help it.

Seriously though, be happy :)
Try to mend all the holes in your life, it's NEVER too late. I hope that didn't ruin your day haha so with that being said, have a wonderful day!!!!!!!

Violet Requiem

Aahhhhhh I have been loaded with work, projects, school, and so much crap these past few days. I feel like it's all way too much sometimes, but I like work, I like being busy, so there's nothing to complain about right? This is by far one of the more comfortable outfits I have ever worn. Leggings, creepers, and a denim jacket -- sign me up! I felt inspired to wear this bindi after looking at Tunnel Vision's preview Lookbook. So excited for their opening, can't wait to spend all my Christmas money on there buying dresses for my mom and I, heh.

Have a wonderful week guiz! :~)
PS there's a TON of new items added to the shop.. vintage jackets, tops, original leggings and dresses, so many new fabrics, take a look if you've got a few minutes to spare -- www.shopmiracleeye.com

Tapestry and Skulls

Hello! This outfit is not very winter appropriate but if you ever come by Los Angeles, I can tell you that it will be either 85 degrees or 60, during December, or August. Yeah. We don't really have 'official' seasons which has it's many pros and cons.

So with that being said, I hope this becomes less awkward for the both of us while writing/reading the word SKIRT, and SHEER BLOUSE. Sweet. Alright so this skirt is from Miracle Eye and focuses on this crazy beautiful blue and gold-looking colors. I obviously have nothing bad to say about it since well, I designed it. But aside from that, it's really comfortable and definitely something different. I mean, how often do you see tapestry SKIRTS? The detachable collar is also available on Miracle Eye! Sheer black mesh blouse was thrifted but the label says American apparel so it's not 'vintage' per se. The ankle boots are my mom's that she splurged on purchasing during black Friday. I've worn this outfit with creepers instead of these boots as well, since these aren't the best shoes for walking all over Downtown..

Have a wonderful day and write a letter to someone that makes you happy! Do it! I mean it! Stop reading this and grab a blank sheet of paper and your favorite smelly glittery pen (orange) and get writing!

Just another hypnotherapist..

Hello! Hope you all had a good weekend. I really hate the quality of these pictures, they were taken on my small point and shoot camera because I was having problems with the camera I use regularly, ugh but it is now in working condition and good quality photos will be back in the next post featuring a beautiful dress from AX Paris!

I've had this taco bag since I was 11 years old and used it all through middle school! I haven't used it since then, but I saw it just laying there and had to grab it! I really like it and I have no idea why I haven't worn it since, I guess I just forgot I had it. The title of this post is mainly just partaking in my recent obsession with hypnosis! We learned about it in Psychology and I will be checking out a few books on it from the library tomorrow! It is a fascinating concept and I personally believe it's the closest thing to magic that we have. I have also been reading books on wicca, witchcraft, and paganism while simultaneously doing my science homework.. Da irony is just well.. okay I think it's official that I can't go without saying one corny thing in a post. Imagine me in real life? Can't get enough of me I tell ya!

Have a wonderful day y'all.
